Vibe Coding: My Journey to a New Creative Tool

When I first started my journey in digital, I was inspired by the idea of simplifying complexity and finding true creative freedom in the tools I used every day.

The core specialization of parnii.de (formerly wix2b.com) has always been working with micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). We provided services focused on deep involvement and solving business challenges effectively: building strong digital brands, migrating large projects to the modern Wix stack, in-depth UX testing of websites, and comprehensive process automation.

But this year, I wanted to step beyond my usual comfort zone and build something outside the Wix ecosystem (other than a Kotlin calculator following a YouTube tutorial). Fortunately, there are tons of tools available now, such as Base44 paired with Zapier and Wix, which allows us to build accessible and clear automation systems (we wrote about that [here]), or Firebase Studio, which I've used for testing and optimizing UX scenarios.

Why Vibe Coding? And Where the Idea for flooou Came From

I often work on projects that have dozens of complex task segments—this might mean websites with many sections or digital services requiring non-standard interaction scenarios. Popular visualization tools—online diagrams, mind-mapping apps, and even AI assistants—feel too clunky to me. They pull me away from the core of the creative process, forcing me to rely on machine logic rather than human meaning.

Many modern AI services promise easy solution generation, but as products scale, I find that creative oversight takes a backseat. For creative professionals—for everyone who works with meaning—it is critically important to maintain control over the core idea itself, not just follow an algorithm.

That's why I conceived of flooou as a digital canvas for inspirational, chaotic thoughts, free from pressure and oversimplification.

The Problem I Was Solving

The tyranny of to-do lists. Tools like Notion and Basecamp are fantastic for organization, but their structured nature can extinguish the very first spark of an idea. Before you have a plan, before you have tasks, you have... chaos. A mess of thoughts, connections, and possibilities.

  • Forcing structure too early kills creativity.

  • Good ideas get lost in a sea of databases, pages, and Kanban boards.

  • There's no room for non-linear, exploratory thinking.

The Solution: A Canvas for Chaos

flooou is the "pre-Basecamp"! It's the digital whiteboard you use before you're ready for project management. Think of it as a mind map, but without the rigid rules:

AI Prompts: Feeling stuck? Get intelligent prompts that help you branch out and explore new directions.

Seamless Flow: No complicated menus. No required fields. Just you and your thoughts, flowing freely onto the canvas.

Designed for Clarity: Once the chaos subsides, you're left with a clear, structured overview of your idea, ready to be exported or moved into your favorite project management tool.

Who is flooou for?

If you love the organizational power of tools like Notion but find them restrictive for initial brainstorming, flooou is made for you:

  • Founders sketching out a new business plan.

  • Writers outlining a novel or a series of articles.

  • Developers architecting a new software system.

  • Students prepping for a complex exam.

Anyone who needs to think, not just organize.

The flooou Tech Stack

When I was prototyping, I heavily relied on Firebase and vibe coding to quickly launch the MVP. After testing and validating the service for a commercial launch, it became clear that I got used to Wix completely handling the heavy lifting for custom user sections, marketing, analytics, and payment processing. I was spending way too much time on the technical setup for basic modern-day professional needs.

I wasn't happy with the performance, and with every 'polish' that required an extra database query, I was losing more control over the application. The whole idea of the app was to be free of technical bloat and unnecessary features. It had to be simple, and the value of minimal, honest optimizations could only be appreciated by a real user, not an algorithm.

We had to make a change. For a while, we had been discussing a potential collaboration with my acquaintance Stas Pogorskii, who has been developing web applications for years on a modern technology stack. We worked out the terms, shook on it, and three days later, we were ready to deploy the application on the new stack.

Uniting the Team: A Traditional Coder + a Digital Expert

At the same time, we've expanded our team by bringing on a classic programmer to strengthen our development capabilities on conventional stacks. Now, we can offer flexible services for businesses:

  • Deep digital branding with Wix Studio — full site migrations with Velo setup and custom integrations.

  • Web application development on modern stacks.

  • UI/UX testing and interface audits for any digital product.

  • Custom solutions for creativity, teamwork, and business process automation.

Commercial Launch and What's Next

I'm inspired by the result—we're launching flooou commercially soon. It's a solution for those who want to be in control of their ideas, not led by algorithms and templates. A mind-mapping tool with AI prompts that helps you stop organizing and start thinking.

At the core of our approach is maintaining control over the creative process and the meaning behind it. We're not competing with our main specialization—on the contrary, "vibe coding" has become my way of making the digital world more flexible, human, and profound.

If you're looking for a partner to expertly migrate your site to Wix Studio, build a unique creative product, or test your UX against real-world challenges—my experience and the parnii.de team are at your service
