How to create a site with AI in Wix Studio Two

Start a new site, choose Wix Studio Two Editor, then AI Prompt, and give Aria a description, files, references or a URL. Aria writes a site brief and proposes three homepage directions. Once you pick one, the full site opens in the Studio Two editor for further changes.
Status: The Studio Two editor was released in November 2026. Aria is AI-powered and can produce unexpected or inaccurate results, so review generated content before publishing.
Before you start
A Wix account you can log in to.
A description of the business: what it is, who it serves and the feel you want.
Optional material: logos, photos, videos, documents, screenshots, palettes, reference URLs or a briefing deck.
Optional: saved skills if you reuse the same preferences across projects.
Step by step
Start a new AI site. Log in to Wix and click Create New Site. Hover over Wix Studio Two Editor and click AI Prompt.
Describe the site. In the Describe the site you want to build field, state what the site is, who it is for and the style you want. More detail gives Aria more to work with.
Attach supporting material. Click + Add to attach files. Site Media & Files appear on the pages as they are. Design References (images, screenshots, palettes or a URL) guide the look of the brand. Business Docs give background on the business.
Or start from an existing site. Click Start from URL, paste the address and click Scan. You can tell Aria in the field above what to take from it. The new site keeps the structure and content but will not be identical.
Apply a skill if you have one. Type "/" in the prompt to list your saved skills and select one. Click Add Skill to create or manage skills.
Decide on Plan mode. Switch the Plan toggle on to shape the brief in a chat with Aria, who asks questions and answers yours. With it off, Aria fills in the brief from your input. Then click Plan Site or Generate Site.
Review and correct the brief. Check the tabs Description, Site Styles, Structure, Site Files and Design References. Edit the brief directly or chat with Aria to change it before moving on.
Choose a homepage direction. Aria creates 3 homepage directions from the same brief. They share brand, colors and typography but differ in layout. Hover over one and click the Expand icon for a desktop preview, then click Generate Site on your choice.
Refine in the editor. The Studio Two editor opens with the chosen homepage on the canvas. Edit design, layout and content by hand, or use the Ask Aria sidebar for changes. Specific layout tweaks, such as moving buttons or images, happen here.
Good to know
Regenerate options (top right) gives new homepage designs, but you cannot go back to the previous set.
At the design step Aria only makes high-level decisions. Detailed layout requests are handled in the editor afterward.
A site created with AI cannot be switched to a different template. You can create a new site and transfer your Studio plan to it.

To build without AI, browse templates or click Start from Business Setup at the top right to reach the dashboard first.
Wix's feature list calls this brief-based start Plan mode. Besides the brief itself, you can add site media, design references and client documents before Aria proposes three homepage options.

Treat the brief as the main control point: corrections there cost less than fixing the generated pages later. Since Regenerate options cannot be undone, note which homepage direction you prefer before you use it.

How do I get an AI-generated site that matches my vision?
Give Aria specific detail. Cover purpose, style, audience, sections or pages, colors and key features. Use Plan mode for more control, and check the brief, since it shows what Aria understood.
Can I add my own content to an AI-generated site in Studio Two?
Yes. You can add your own text and images anywhere once the site is created. Design changes can be made manually or with Aria's help.
Can I change an AI-generated site to a regular template?
No. A site created with AI cannot be switched to another template. You can create a new site and transfer your Studio plan to it.
