How to use Aria, the AI assistant in Wix Studio Two
Updated: 6 hours ago
Open Aria with the Aria icon at the bottom left of the Studio Two editor and describe your task in the chat. Select an element first to tag it, attach files if needed, and save repeated instructions as skills. Review everything Aria produces before you finalize the site.
Status: The sources describe Aria as part of the Studio Two editor, released in November 2026. They state no beta or rollout limits.
Before you start
You need a site open in the Studio Two editor, not the classic Wix Studio editor.
Collect any client material you want Aria to use, such as images, files or brand rules.
Plan to check all of Aria's output, since AI can produce unexpected or inaccurate results.
Step by step
Open the Aria chat. Click the Aria icon at the bottom left of the editor. The chat stays in context with the site you are editing, so you can ask about tasks, ideas or questions right away.
Tag the element you want changed. Select an element on the canvas and it is tagged in the chat automatically. You then do not need to describe which element you mean.
Write or dictate your request. Type in the text box, or click the Dictate icon to speak. Be specific about the outcome, for example a page layout, a text rewrite, a brand color update or a piece of custom code.
Attach files and media. Click the Add icon (+) to upload images or files from your computer. You can also pick media from your Media Manager.
Manage conversations. Use Start new conversation when you switch topics. Use View chat history to go back to earlier conversations.
Create a skill for repeated instructions. Click the Add icon (+) and choose Skills, or type a slash in the chat. Click New Skill, then fill in Skill name, Slug, When to use and Instructions, and click Create Skill. A skill such as Brand guidelines can hold a client's typography, color and tone rules.
Call a skill in the chat. Type a slash followed by the slug, for example /brand-guidelines. Aria also detects relevant skills and applies them without being named.
Install skills from the Skills Library. Click Manage Skills, then Skills Library. Search by keyword or category tab and click Install. Examples are /checkconversionreadiness and /findmissinglinks.
Edit, pause or remove skills. On the Skills page, click a skill to edit it, switch its toggle off to pause it, or use More Actions to Duplicate or Delete it.
Review and refine the result. Check what Aria changed before you finalize. You can adjust anything manually on the canvas or ask Aria to revise it.
Good to know
Skills are saved per user, not per account. Collaborators do not automatically share your skills.
Skills installed from the Skills Library are read-only. To change one, you cannot edit it directly.
Aria does not manage dashboard settings. If a request needs dashboard changes, she points you to the dashboard.
Before using AI-generated content, check that you have the right to use it.
Aria can also write and edit custom code, and anything she does can be adjusted by hand.
On the canvas, AI actions improve layouts, rewrite text and edit images, and Smart edits transform images, for example by changing colors, moving objects or adjusting angles.
parnii note
Write one skill per client with their typography, color and tone rules, so content requests stay consistent. Since skills are saved per user, share the instructions text with your team separately.
